“It was OK. It sort of lost its reason for being. It didn’t have the anger. The biggest point that we were trying to make [in the original] is that you couldn’t tell who was crazy, all the way up to the guys in the Pentagon. When they have pustules and glowing red eyes, you sort of know.”
